P.O. Box 4072 Gadsden, AL 35904 2007 Football Season Events Etowah County Auburn Football Kickoff - August (Check out the photos from that night) The kickoff was a huge success as we had over 100 Auburn fans and alumni join us to discuss the upcoming season and to have guest speaker Mark Murphy from Inside the Auburn Tigers. Mark provided great insight on summer practice and the 2006 Auburn Football Team. Thanks for those who joined us, and for those who didn't make sure you come hang out with us next time! Beat Bama Bash - November 16 The Beat Bama Bash was a fun success as we had quite a nice turnout. Previous AU/UAT games were viewed and plenty of AU spirit! Food was catered by Grid Iron and Sandra Hill. Many thanks to Sandra for all her hard work! Etowah County Spring Family Fling - May 10, 2006 (pics to be added) The Auburn Family Fun day was a hit as Aubie and Tiger won over everyone's heart. As Aubie entertained the children and some of our parents as well our guest speaker Roy Crowe from the Auburn University Raptor Center talked about raptors and their unique qualities. One of the most intriguing and asked about subject was the training of the raptors to fly and circle the stadium each game. Hamburgers and hotdogs were served with lots of great Auburn decorations and balloons for the kids. Many thanks to Sandra Hill as she once again knocked another evening out of the ballpark with her hard work, and also many thanks to her husband who was our cook for the evening! We had a great evening with several new members joining and their contributions to the Auburn Club. With your donations we will be able to give one local student a scholarship to Auburn University!
